this week was good because...

 ...my favorite local bakery had delicious fall-flavored macarons (including a pumpkin spice with buttercream that was perfectly spiced).

,,,a colleague and I had a fantastic mentoring conversation.

...the weather has still been nice enough to let us chat in the driveway with our neighbors at the end of the day.

...I've come to appreciate audio books.

...Wildcat Guy and I enjoyed a dinner date with little dude to end the week. 

...we spent Saturday at the Cincinnati Zoo with my parents, then enjoyed a brief dinner visit with a dear friend afterward.
