this week was good because of...
...small delights (like the gift of homemade chocolate croissants) on a birthday that was lowkey after a week of the family being at home with Covid, but still lovely.
...the ability to be reasonable with my expectations for myself at home and at work.
...family close by, which meant having help when we needed it most this week.
...conversations with students. Lots of conversations with students.
...the conference I attended on Friday with colleagues, which is always an event of encouragement and development.
...an abundance of baby snuggles.
...the local fall festival yesterday, complete with a corn maze and live music.
What made your week good?
