have you hugged your cat today?

I heard on the radio this afternoon that today is Hug Your Cat Day. Who knew?! I would like to say I've given Gru lots of hugs today in honor of this special occasion. But really? Hugging him is a messy affair. So instead, I've given him lots of scratches behind the ear. Which he seems to like just as much, without leaving a carpet of fur on my clothes.
