meeting the "family" - quick update

It's late, I need to finish packing for my eighteen-day roadtrip, and I still have thank-you cards to write for my interview...but I will say this about today: the hardest part of meeting the family is really liking them as people, liking what they're all about, and feeling like you'd fit in well with them...but not finding out until at least next Tuesday just how mutual the feeling might be. Sigh.

Thank you to everyone for your warm wishes and kind thoughts...I felt them with me today.
