this made me smile today


The heat and humidity is slowly giving way to milder temperatures...nice. It was cool enough this morning that I could see my breath (!), and pleasant enough this afternoon to spend my lunch break outside. Such a wonderful treat to curl up at a picnic table under a big tree, with a mild breeze blowing and a blue sky overhead, eating my lunch and reading a good book.

Too many things to count. The first smile of the day, though, was courtesy of the new guy I've been emailing - and will hopefully have a date with in the coming weeks.

Yes, a date! My first one in a year and a half! No, I'm not nervous at all ;)
