I got a lot of really great gifts for my birthday...but this was the absolute best one of all: an adorable, heart-lifting phone call from my favorite almost-three year-old, who woke up from his nap this afternoon and found out I'd already left his house. What a sweet moment to answer my phone and hear his little voice say, "I miss you."
