back in the real world

So after working from home for two years, there are things I'm having to adjust to now that I'm working in an office with other people. Things like:

- getting dressed for work every morning in something other than sweats.
- commuting...in a car...on the roads...every day.
- packing a lunch and not having the kitchen just down the hall.
- wearing shoes all day.
- remembering that talking to myself may be construed as odd.

It's definitely different. And yet I'm enjoying having my colleagues down the hall. There's something nice about being able to ask a question or have a conversation in person, rather than on the phone or email.
