this week was good because of...

...a lovely snowy weekend.

...realistic expectations for my to-do list.

...having the best reason ever to indulge my weakness for bridal magazines, television shows, etc.

...a much-needed verse in my Friday-night devotion: "As the waters rose higher and higher above the ground, the boat floated safely on the surface." (Genesis 7:18)

...a beautiful bouquet of daisies, mums, carnations, lilies and snapdragons from Wildcat Guy.

...coming home to the soft fragrance of those fresh flowers filling my apartment.

...starting the work week after an eleven-day holiday break with a massage.

...the rhythm of familiar routines.

...verse 7 - probably not as popular or easily-remembered, but just as important.

...a stunning, intriguing movie that deserves most of the hype surrounding it.

...the bumps, creaks and footsteps as the students return to the halls.

...getting my scrapbook table cleaned off - and getting a little bit of scrapbooking done, too.

...the unique (if not spot-on) flavor of pumpkin pie Pop-Tarts.

...a good Dean Koontz book.

...a quote from Kate Hudson that describes exactly how I feel about my own hair: "It's high maintenance! Half curly, half straight, so I have to tell it what to do." Yes!

...the first preview for a movie I'm very much looking forward to.

What made your week good?

Where I am: home
What I'm reading: just finished What the Night Knows by Dean Koontz

pumpkin pie pop-tarts? haven't seen them but now I want one! Glad to hear you are scrapbooking again. You need to get caught up before your WEDDING!!!!! I just read Water for Elephants over the weekend and already have a date to go see it with Kate and Celia in April!
